چکیده

ABSTRACT: Big chili has the largest fruit size compared to other types of chili. In addition having a spicy taste, big chilies contain beneficial biochemicals such as phenolics, flavonoids, antioxidants, and α-glucosidase inhibitors that have potential be developed for functional tropical plants. Information on content is still not widely found. Therefore, this study identified biochemical compounds (TPC, TFC, DPPH, FRAP, AGI) in several genotypes peppers. From October November 2021, we conducted using microplate reader method. We repeated experiment three times. The research design used was completely randomized with single factor genotype. A total 22 were study. genotype F6074136-2-3-2-3 had highest inhibitor antioxidant FRAP 67.62% 71.20 mol TE/g extract. CK 12 F6074077-1-1-3-1 indicated phenolic flavonoid contents. correlation between parameters showed TPC-AGI TPC-DPPH significantly negatively correlated. conclusion information can basis development plants future research.

Antioxidant Activity and Total Phenolic and Flavonoid Contents of Hieracium pilosella L. Extracts

The antioxidant activity of water, ethanol and methanol Hieracium pilosella L. extracts is reported. The antioxidative activity was tested by spectrophotometrically measuring their ability to scavenge a stable DPPH(•) free radical and a reactive hydroxyl radical trapped by DMPO during the Fenton reaction, using the ESR spectroscopy. Total phenolic content and total flavonoid content were evalua...
